this matches the holotype of afralis (Hope Museum, Oxford Uni) http://www.oum.ox.ac.uk/collections/record.php?irn=3110&id=b9fb&searchterm=Daulia&type=basic&shownum=20&select_scope=Life&startnum=1&shownum=20

@hkmoths thank you. The link to OUM is not working for me, possibly due to a recurring problem I am having with my IP address getting rejected by sites. One of the downsides of connecting through my mobile phone.

@hkmoths I can see it on Pyralids of Borneo

@hkmoths Having compared the two species on Pyralids of Borneo, I believe the fascia of this one better match those of aurantialis than afralis. For example, the HW submarginal and postmedial fascia in aurantialis meet to form a kind of distorted Y shape, where in afralis they are more widely divergent and form a V shape.

@geechartier - It was Terry Whitaker who put me onto this. Yours is definitely afralis going on the type..... I'll link the photo directly here..... PoB needs updating!

Here is Terry's email to me of 2nd July 2020 . . . "Hi Roger, I have discovered that the POB website has identification errors related to Daulia species. I had been using Wang & Speidel (2000: 183) as a confirmation of the ID of Daulia afralis Walker (1859) this incorrect. The species we had illustrated as Daulia auranticalis is in fact D. afralis The morphospecies we illustrated as D. afralis is probably the same as that illustrated by Wang & Speidel and may be un-named. Unfortunately Bae et al. 2012 also illustrated that un-named Daulia sp. as afralis when they encountered it in Korea.. In addition there is a similar species Daulia argentusalis Swinhoe. Do you have any Daulia spp. in HK? you should have the un-named species. Regards terry"
