It can be very exciting to be out in nature at night. It also increases the chances of seeing wildlife.
On this tour, we don head torches and wander around the edge of a small lowland meadow at night looking around for interesting things to see. We go at a very slow pace to maximise our chances of seeing things.
The majority of what we see is likely to comprise insects and spiders but some of these are amazing and they are significantly more co-operative at night, so there should be many macro photography opportunities. There are chances to see larger creatures like lizards and snakes but don’t expect to see mammals. If we do, it’s a big bonus.
